Amsterdam and onwards!

We finished up our stay in the Netherlands! We were exhausted from walking over 25 miles during pride weekend, so we spent a lot of time relaxing on our apartment’s balconies, trying new food, and exploring the beautiful parks in the neighborhood.
I wish we could have stayed longer in Amsterdam, but it was incredibly expensive for a room. Hopefully, I’ll get to revisit it one day because I really loved it! 🙂
We woke up at 3 am this morning to catch our flight out! I have no idea how I planned a flight that early. Oops. 😂 We were at the airport by 4 am, and it was a madhouse, but we made it to our flight just in time despite the lines and very thorough security checks.
A couple of hours later we landed in Athens, Greece! We got in at about 10 this morning and somehow navigated the metro system to avoid the airport taxis here, which are notorious for ripping off tourists. I immediately went back to sleep to catch up on what I missed thanks to my planning blunder. I’ll post our next adventure soon! 🙂
